Over time we have allowed ourselves to be bound. Sometimes we break free only to find that after a short period of time, we find ourselves bound all over again. This is not God’s plan for His children.
We have to start taking accountability and responsibility for ourselves in maintaining the freedom God has extended to us. Freedom in Christ is about relationship and faith. Freedom in Christ is a place of peace that says “wherever I am, God I am content with You”. It’s about experiencing His love. It’s about being able to talk to Him and commune with Him. It’s the thought that “if God is for me, who can be against me”. It’s knowing that “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength”. It’s knowing that “there is no situation or circumstance I will break under for He will not put more on me than I can bear”. “I will overcome because I am more than a conqueror”. “It is about all that I can do because with God nothing is impossible.”
That's what SUCCESSS Together is about. SUCCESSS Together is about reaffirming who you are in God and getting to the place where you can believe God for the impossible.
So many times we find ourselves going through a vicious cycle, on this merry go round of life. We have to individually make up our minds once and for all that “I’m breaking this cycle. I’m getting off of this ride, it’s time for me to live the life that God has for His children. I am His child.” You have been finding yourself asking “why am I not living the life the word says I’m supposed to be living? Jesus came so that I can have life in abundance, right? What am I missing?” We ask ourselves these questions. Some we may find answers to, some we may not. In all the questioning, there is one constant that remains….we must trust God!
We must trust God at all costs. We must constantly day to day walk by faith. There is no other way. It is by faith that you receive that place for righteousness through the Spirit. It is by faith that you are able to face your situations, knowing that you can come out victoriously. It is by faith that you can grasp hold of all the promises that God has for you in His word.
Faith is built up by day to day interaction with God, first and foremost and with other believers. The word tells us not to give up meeting together, but encouraging one another. Surrounding yourself with things of the Spirit and positivity is how you deter distractions and stay focused on what the word says as opposed to what your circumstances are saying, as opposed to what the world is saying, and as opposed to what statistics say. You have to continuously build up your faith.
His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 2 Peter 1:3
